Automatically reboot miners that underperform. When a miner’s hashrate stays below the configured threshold for a sustained period, the system sends a reboot task to the Agent.

Condition

The system evaluates average hashrate over a configurable window (default 60 minutes). Two threshold modes are available:
  • Simple: one fixed hashrate value applies to all miners.
  • Advanced (per-model): set a different threshold for each miner model. Use a fixed hashrate or a percentage of the model’s rated hashrate (e.g. 80% of expected).

Safeguards

Reboot only triggers when all safeguards pass:
  • Temperature guard: miners above the temperature limit are skipped to avoid rebooting overheated hardware.
  • Rate limit: each miner can only be rebooted once per configured interval (default once per hour).
  • Reboot limit: an optional cap on how many times a single miner can be rebooted within a time window.

Configuration

  1. Go to Automations in the farm sidebar.
  2. Select the Reboot template (tags: #Hashrate #Reboot).
  3. Choose Simple or Advanced mode and set hashrate thresholds.
  4. Set the temperature guard and rate limit.
  5. Enable the automation and click Save.
