Most access problems are not system failures. They are usually caused by the wrong role or the wrong farm scope.

Why can’t I see a feature?

Check these in order:
  1. Is your role correct?
  2. Are you in the right workspace?
  3. Have you been assigned to the relevant farm?
Common causes include:
  • Viewer does not get team governance entry points
  • You are looking at a different workspace
  • No farm assignment means no access to the related farms, miners, or tasks

Why can I see the page but still not use it?

The most common reason is that you have read access, but not manage access. Typical cases include:
  • Your role is intentionally read-only for that action
  • You can enter the settings page, but your role cannot save changes
  • You are trying to access resources outside your assigned farm scope
If buttons are disabled or an API call returns an access error, ask an Admin to check whether your role and farm scope match the intended access.

When do role changes take effect?

Usually after a page refresh or a new sign-in session. If you already refreshed and nothing changed, common causes include:
  • You are still looking at a different workspace
  • The role changed, but the farm scope did not
  • The page is still showing cached permission state

Why can another Member see more farms and miners than I can?

Because your farm scope may be different. Two people can both be Members, but the one assigned to more farms will also see more farms, miners, and tasks. The same role does not mean the same resource coverage.

Can Viewer see every farm?

No. Viewer can see only the farms that were explicitly assigned. If no farms are assigned, those resources will not appear. Only Admin has full cross-farm access by default.
