# Overclock/Underclock

> Temperature-driven automatic power mode switching

Let the system handle repetitive work and reduce manual checks. Automation can switch power modes (overclock, underclock, normal) based on miner status. **Temperature-driven auto underclock** is currently supported.

## Temperature-Driven Auto Underclock

When miner temperature exceeds the threshold, the system automatically restores from overclock to normal mode to prevent overheating.

### Configuration Steps

1. Go to the [Automation](https://nonce.app/demo/farms/a28185a3-791f-4057-a318-0b4c156b00d8/automations) page.
2. Select the **Normal** template (tags: #Temperature #Normal).
3. Set the temperature threshold (e.g., 82°C) and turn on the switch.
4. Click **Save**.
